Affectionately known as the 'Matildas,' the Australian team will be aiming to take on the world's best teams and lift the trophy, with Eliie being an integral part of the team. Ellie's 5 years spent training in the Coerver® Coaching ACT Performance Academy holds her in good stead to compete at International level and her strength of being able to run with the ball and win the 1v1 situations will contribute to Australia's success.

Coerver Coaching ACT recently caught up with Coerver Coaching ACT Kid Callum Lightfoot on his time at the Coerver Coaching/Benfica International Elite Development Program.

CC. What did you enjoy the most about your time at Benfica?

CL. I found personally that the most enjoyable aspect of my time with Benfica was the opportunity to train 8 times a week as well as play 2 games a week. We also had the opportunity to train and eat at the Caixa Futebol Campus which was an eye opening experience into the life of professional footballers.
