Coerver® Coaching ACT continued a proud 21+ year tradition of providing local opportunities to players and coaches living in regional areas by visiting Merimbula and delivering Skills Clinics and Coach Education courses. The Coerver® Coaching Skills Clinic included drills and games from the globally recognised Coerver® Coaching Pyramid of Player Development. With players making new friends, learning new skills and developing confidence and creativity while playing football.

Coerver® Coaching ACT continued 20+ years of delivering programs to develop confident, skilled and creative players by delivering a session for the Tuggeranong United WNPL squad. Coerver Coaching ACT Technical Director, Adrian Haynes said “Coerver® Coaching ACT has a proud history in the women’s game, including assisting the development of Matildas, W-League representatives and players within the Tuggeranong United WNPL squad.

The Coerver Coaching ACT Performance Academy Graduation was held at the University of Canberra with over 450 players, parents, carers and family members attending over two ceremonies. The night was a celebration of the player’s efforts throughout the Coerver Coaching ACT Performance Academy 2020/21 program.

Everyone at Coerver Coaching ACT would like to congratulate Coerver ACT Kid Nikita Perry for being invited to trial with the Junior Matildas, the Under 17 Australian National Women’s Team. Nikita is a long time Coerver Coaching ACT Performance Academy participant, was selected as the Player of the Program at the Coerver Coaching Asia Pacific Performance Camp 2020 and participated in specialised training sessions, along with brother Jamie, throughout the year to take her game to the next level.

Coerver Coaching ACT Technical Director Adrian Haynes spoke to former Coerver ACT Performance Academy graduate Ellie Carpenter on joining her new club Olympique Lyonnais in France.

Coerver Coaching ACT returned to group programs on the weekend with the Coerver ACT Back to Football Skills Clinics. Players were glad to be back on field experiencing drills and games designed to support their technical development within covid19 regulations.

Coerver Coaching ACT was privileged to be able to provide a free skills clinic for bushfire affected families of the NSW South Coast. With over 150 registered players, it was a fantastic day of football fun to raise the spirits of the local community.

Coerver Coaching ACT has been running technical training sessions for South Coast footballers for the past 2 years. After the devastating bushfires swept through the region, Coerver Coaching ACT returned to conduct a free skills clinic to raise spirits of affected local families. The session was hosted in Moruya on Saturday, March 14^th with over 150 players registered.

Coerver Coaching ACT Kid Rachael Goldstein made her W-League debut for Canberra United on Sunday 16/2/20 against Adelaide United.

Rachael spent several years as a player attending different Coerver Coaching ACT programs and as a part of our Coerver Coaching ACT Performance Academy Program where she trained in the Senior Girls Squad.
