Coerver Coaching ACT Kid Nikita Perry Invited To Trial For Junior Matildas

Everyone at Coerver Coaching ACT would like to congratulate Coerver ACT Kid Nikita Perry for being invited to trial with the Junior Matildas, the Under 17 Australian National Women’s Team. Nikita is a long time Coerver Coaching ACT Performance Academy participant, was selected as the Player of the Program at the Coerver Coaching Asia Pacific Performance Camp 2020 and participated in specialised training sessions, along with brother Jamie, throughout the year to take her game to the next level. When asked how Coerver Coaching has benefited her game, Nikita said “Coerver Coaching has improved my game by practising skills not taught at team training, and highlights areas I can improve on so that I can keep practicing those techniques and getting better.”

Coerver Coaching ACT Performance Academy Director, Adrian Haynes, reflected on Nikita’s progress over the years of training with Coerver Coaching “It is extremely gratifying to see Nikita’s hard work beginning to pay off for her at the highest level. Nikita is very athletically gifted and through her hard work and amazing attitude towards her technical training with Coerver Coaching, Nikita is now being recognised by coaches of our National Matildas youth sides. The Coerver Coaching program has been the perfect fit for Nikita to help her refine the technical elements of her game. Being a constant addition in our Performance Academy over the past years has allowed Nikita the repetition needed to develop these game specific techniques to the level where she can use them under full pressure in a game play situation. I wish Nikita the absolute best in her football career going forward, and look forward to continuing to assist her with her technical development. We will be following her progress very closely.”

Coerver Coach, Sonya Sheedy also congratulated Nikita on the reward for her hard work “I have had the pleasure of working with Nikita over the past few years. Nikita is a dedicated individual who always strives to be the best player she can be. She was always outstanding in her ball mastery and was a great leader in both the Senior girls and Youth girls squads. I wish Nikita all the best with her future football endeavours and look forward to seeing her achievements in the future.”
