The Coerver® Coaching Australia Select Tour recently returned from their 8 day tour of Auckland, New Zealand.

Players aged 7-10 were selected from the 9th Annual COERVER® Coaching Australia Performance Camp held in Canberra in January 2018.

The tour participants were treated to a fantastic 8 days of football and cultural activities.

The tour saw the Coerver® Coaching Australia Select squads participating in the Coerver® Coaching Auckland Central 5v5 Coerver® Cup as well as matches against Birkenhead AFC, East Coast Bays AFC and the Coerver® Coaching Auckland Central Performance Academy. 

Complimenting the tour’s footballing activities were a range of cultural experiences, including a day exploring the sights and activities of Rotorua and visits to Auckland Sky Tower and Kelly Tarlton’s Sea Life Aquarium. Tour participants also had opportunities to spend time relaxing, unwinding and exploring their surrounds.

Coerver Coach and tour director Adrian Hayes said “The Coerver Coaching Select Tour to New Zealand was extremely successful and enjoyable for all participants. Both teams were competitive in all games including a number of wins. A highlight of the tour was U9 squad member Grace Fenson being named as the player of the Coerver Coaching Auckland Central 5v5 tournament for her age group.”
