Coerver® Coaching ACT Kid, Ellie Carpenter, was today announced as a member of the 2019 FIFA Womens World Cup Squad, representing Australia. Affectionately known as the 'Matildas,' the Australian team will be aiming to take on the world's best teams and lift the trophy, with Eliie being an integral part of the team. Ellie's 5 years spent training in the Coerver® Coaching ACT Performance Academy holds her in good stead to compete at International level and her strength of being able to run with the ball and win the 1v1 situations will contribute to Australia's success.

Ellie was also nominated for, and won, the Young Footballer of the Year for her outstanding performances during the 2018/19 W-League season representing Canberra United. Ellie was also the Young Footballer of the Year for the 2017/18 season and is only the second player in history to win the award in back to back seasons.
