Coerver Coaching ACT Kid Rachael Goldstein makes her W-League debut for Canberra United
Coerver Coaching ACT Kid Rachael Goldstein made her W-League debut for Canberra United on Sunday 16/2/20 against Adelaide United.
Rachael spent several years as a player attending different Coerver Coaching ACT programs and as a part of our Coerver Coaching ACT Performance Academy Program where she trained in the Senior Girls Squad.
Coerver Coaching ACT Technical Director Adrian Haynes said "Everyone at Coerver Coaching was particularly proud to see Rachael make her W- League debut with Canberra United against Adelaide United. Rachael and her two sisters all went through the Coerver Coaching ACT program over a number of years and epitomised what it is to be a "Coerver Kid." Rachael was always a player who worked exceptionally hard on her game and it is great to see this hard work paying off. She was particularly enthusiastic to be able to renew her association with Coerver Coaching ACT through the technical sessions that we ran for the entire Canberra United W-League squad throughout this season. Once a Coerver Kid always a Coerver kid! Both personally and on behalf of everyone at Coerver Coaching ACT, I want to congratulate Rachael on her W-League debut and wish her the very best for not only the remainder of this season but for future W- League seasons."
When asked about her Coerver Coaching experiences, Rachael said, “The Coerver Coaching ACT programs helped me be more comfortable on the ball. Also I like using the change of direction moves so I do not have to worry about losing the ball no matter where the defender is. Dribbling is my favourite thing to do in football, and I got that from doing Coerver Coaching as a young player.”
Coerver Coaching ACT would like to congratulate Rachael and wish her all the best for her future playing career.
