Coerver Coaching ACT is proud to have so many female members of staff, especially those who have moved from being Coerver players to become Coerver coaches. We asked coaches Corrine, Grace, Ella and Alexia at the recent Holiday Camps why Coerver Coaching has been great for them.
CC - "What do you enjoy most about being a Coerver Coach?"
Corrine - "Being a Coerver Coach has allowed me to pass my knowledge and experience on to the younger footballers. I love being able to give something to the players that they may not be able to receive at their local club level."
Grace - "I love being able to spend time with youths who want to be involved with football. It’s always exciting for me to get to work with them and teach them new things. They always seem to enjoy themselves, be involved in the drills, and love showing up to training, that’s what a Coerver Kid is."
Ella - "Sharing my love of the sport with young players and having the opportunity to help them grow as a player."
Alexia - "I love teaching young kids how to the play the sport that I am passionate about. I enjoy being a role model for players and am grateful for the opportunity to see them improve as footballers."
CC - "How did being a Coerver Player help you become a Coerver Coach?"
Corrine - "Being a player before I became a coach allowed me to master the moves and skills before I could pass that knowledge on to others. It also creates a greater bond between myself and the players as I have been through the same drills as the ones they are completing."
Grace - "Growing up as a Coerver Player was one of the most amazing opportunities I was ever able to take. It made my passion for football grow into now what I hope will be a career. Now that I am coaching, my passion is still very strong, and allows me to help younger people live up to their dreams of football through my experience with Coerver Coaching."
Ella - "Because I had already been taught and practiced the basics of Coerver like ball mastery. This assisted in teaching the players the correct technique and any tips to help them. "
Alexia - "Having gone through Coerver training programs myself it is very valuable as I am able to relate to the players I coach based of my own personal experience. Being exposed to the Coerver Method and its principles first hand, has helped me understand the importance of encouraging individual skill development and ball mastery."
CC - "Why would you recommend Coerver Coaching for other young female footballers?"
Corrine - "Coerver Coaching is a great opportunity for female footballers as it provides another aspect of football development that not all clubs provide. You also get to meet and train with other amazing female footballers from all across your area. "
Grace - "Football in general is a great way to exercise, meet new people, and hopefully start up a new hobby or potential career. Helping young footballers start this journey early is always a great way to see if they enjoy the amazing sport. The female football community at Coerver Coaching, and around the world, has become much more wholesome and welcoming, especially for the little ones, since the Woman’s World Cup. Coerver Coaching has become a big part in helping young footballers achieve their goals and live their dreams by being the best footballers they can be. I am one of the lucky people who get to be involved, and I can’t be anymore grateful for this ongoing experience."
Ella - "Coerver Coaching provides the opportunity to help young footballers improve their skills and broaden their knowledge of the game with structured sessions that have been proven to work."
Alexia - "I recommend Coerver Coaching to young female footballers because it goes beyond just teaching football skills, it creates a deeper passion for the game. Through Coervers approach, as a coach you get the rare opportunity to assist and watch young players grow on and off the field.:
